Mount Escapes
Both escapes can start from high mount or regular mount.
Escape 1:
When A has high mount, B gets their elbows in and places them against the inside of A's thighs. B then shrimps so that A is mounted at the waist. Assuming A leaves both their arms posted out above B's shoulders, B gets a gable grip around one arm and pulls it down to their chest, holding it there. B then blocks the same side leg and upas over. Once B is able to escape they place their arms on A's biceps to keep them flattened out.
Gable Grip note* outside arm circles around A's arm.
Escape 2:
When A has high mount, B places their elbows on the inside of A's thighs to kill the threat of the armlock. B then uses one of their elbows to push A's knee backwards. At the same time B is shrimping out and blocking A's hip with the free arm by placing their arm across A's hip. If B is pushing with their left arm and the right arm is blocking A's hip, B get's on their left hip. Once on their left hip, B uses their right leg to hook A's leg that was pushed backward and hooks it into half guard. From there B shrimps to get a butterfly hook with their right leg and from there, regains guard.
