Side Control escape to choke

I start in side control but T has an underhook and head control. My first move is to frame against T and shrimp out to bring my inside knee in. From there I use my outside leg to hook T's leg between my knee and my hook. my arm that would block the cross face then loosens T's gi and brings it around their back to my free arm (not underhooked). I then shrimp out again and pass the lapel to my cross face arm except I know have a lapel choke grip. From there I bring their crossface arm across my body while reconstituting guard and pull them down onto my chest. I then use my free arm to come around the back of their head to apply pressure and finish the choke. One of the setups is to just go for the cross choke and when they go to defend just bring the arm across. I can also go back to the cross choke if they are tough and try to posture up.

Another option is to just underhook the arm after getting the lapel in the cross choke. because their posture is down and it's an easy route to the back.
